Pediatricians do more for kids than one might imagine. They're available at any time for a child"s needs. Parents with concerns about their child can call at any hour to ask questions or make an appointment. But what does it take to become such an important doctor? It takes respect for the field and the proper training, among other things. Pediatricians are doctors who work with little kids, usually from infancy to age 18. Pediatricians work with kids and diagnose and treat infections, as well as treat injuries, defects, malignancies, and many more types of diseases and dysfunctions. With planned evaluation and early involvement, pediatricians recognize and attend to developmental and behavioral problems that result from exposure to psychosocial stressors. They appreciate the defenselessness of childhood and adolescence, and actively support measures to care for their health and safety. Most pediatricians are on call. This means if there is an emergency they can be reached at any time of the day. Pediatricians have a lot of training to do before they can take on the medical field. They attend eleven total years of schooling: four years in college, four years of medical school, one year of an internship in pediatrics, and two years of a pediatric residency. The schooling is not cheap either; in the year 2000, the typical medical student's debt was $95,000. Classes that should be taken in college are as follows: one year of English, two years of Biology, one semester of college Calculus or Statistics, and one year of Physics. Pediatricians do go through a lot of schooling, and accrue a lot of debt, but almost all of them will never go back and do different. Pediatricians may work a lot and have a lot of debt to pay off, but their salary makes it all worth it. Pediatricians make money based on how many patients they see a year. An average pediatrician sees 96 patients a week. The majority of Pediatricians make $60,000 to $400,000 a year. That is an amazing amount of money. Now, the price is different for all pediatricians because it is based on their number of patients a week and if they are full time or part time pediatricians. The mean pay for a pediatrician, though, is $139,600 a year. The Pediatrics outlook is really excellent. As long as people keep having children, there will be more and more pediatricians. Pediatricians are still needed in rural places currently. Some places in the United States lack pediatricians! The medical field in general is growing and will still maintain to grow to meet the society's needs in medicine. Pediatricians have an amazing job! Even though the debts can be high, their pay lets them pay it off quickly though. I would love to have this job this is because they get to work with kids and have that overwhelming joy that they helped. Even though they cant help all the kids but the joy that they must have after saving a life that is incredible! And since the outlook is strong I have faith that in 13 years education training and when I graduate in years there will still be a high need for Pediatricians. I love kids and I always wanted to be a doctor"¦ put the two and two together and you get a Pediatrician. I love what Pediatricians do and they make a difference and I want to.

Would you like to live a...Would you like to live a happy and productive life? Then get pets! I must admit it is hard to believe that domesticated animals can promote mental and physical health, but many studies have shown that they can. On the other hand, you must find a pet that is compatible with you or with your life style. Maintaining good mental health is crucial for living a "normal" life. Many psychiatrists have found that patients with anger management problems can be calmer with a pet around the house. Sometimes, just the feel of a pet in the house can do wonders on the nerves and eliminate certain aggravation. A significant point that have been brought up by animal right activists is that abuse inflicted on animals is, in many cases caused by frustration caused by an outside conflict. Outside conflicts can be caused by work stress, school, and/or relationships. On the other hand, if you have control of your temper your should have nothing to worry about. I have found that having multiple pets around can be difficult, but with the hard work comes satisfaction and happiness. Personally, I own two birds and six fish; my two birds are in separate cages, so they do not fight or maybe even kill each other! In my fish tank, there is no predatory fish, which would endanger the other fish in the tank. Separating animals that could do harm to each other is a good method for ensuring their safety. In addition, you must remember to spend an equal amount of time with your pets"¦ even your fish, so one pet does not get jealous of the other. One terrible incident happened when I left my birds together in the same cage over-night. When I woke up, I found the smaller bird dead on the floor of the cage with a gash in its throat; he of course died. Many give their beloved companions names such as people Stanley, Buddy, and Mikey. By giving pets human names people feel more connected and comfortable around their animal friends. People some times are extremely attached to their pets; many cater to their every whim. Some people even bring their dogs and cats to pet manicurists and stylists to pamper their pets. This "obsession" with their pets can lead to deep seeded pain and anguish when a pet passes on. Unfortunately the reality of a pet dying is all too genuine with today"s high ways and increasingly busy streets can spell certain doom for our four legged chums. In conclusion, animals help their owners every day to live their lives a bit easier. As well as providing, relieve from they give an unsurpassed amount of enjoyment and love. Many people say that animals can not love or truly understand our feelings just because they are not classified as humans and do not express themselves in ways that we can not comprehend. Unfortunately people over look the fact that humans are animals like any other but that have been blessed with an understandable means of communication .I hope if you are a disbeliever in the factual intelligence of animals that this essay changed your perspective. In addition, remember that people are animals too!

They know if picked up, disaster happens with a sharp decline in school marks. But what they don't realize is that procrastinating can actually benefit you in school. It can make you work harder, faster, and more efficiently on school assignments. Even life skills in the real world can be created from procrastinating. Helps you work harder, faster, and more efficiently, you say? Yes, that's exactly what I said. It sounds like an impossible thing, however if you're like me or any other sensible person that wants a fairly good mark on the next assignment, procrastinating can help you. When you are wanting to strive for that better mark and the bad habit hits you hard, you think it's a bad combination but waste no more time thinking about it. Just let the time pass by. While your friends are working hard on it, go play, and do the things you like but still allow enough time to complete the assignment. When time comes to do it, it should be cramming time to get it done to the best of your ability. It actually helps you, because it gives that need of drive to actually still maintain a good mark on it. And what about efficiency? That's easy, when you have your daily homework piled on to your assignment, the need to get the assignment done kicks in. You will feel less of a need to do other things that you normally do, and cut down on the breaks, including the old rest up and watch TV. one. Also essential life skills in the real world become developed through procrastinating. In the busy world of work, everyone knows that that boss of yours will always set impossible deadlines. And the knowing of having to get it done perfectly and fast is always on the employer's mind. When already experienced through procrastinating, you will already know the field of trying to cram a lot of work into a very little time frame. And the planning and setting could be done in your sleep. Procrastination can honestly boast you to higher levels of achievement. It makes you nervous and deadlines will be hanging from your head. It helps set a planning stage for you, and makes you aware of the other tasks also the complete including the assignment. The management of time will also be used. Time managing of what to do first and last including dividing the assignment into steps, or knowing what to do to get the best result in little time is very handy in the feature. This habit is not so dreaded as to be. I feel that procrastinating isn't all that bad, and actually benefits you. Like I said, it gives the best result in little time. With that little time, a lot of other subcategories start getting developed, including efficiency, working harder or faster, etc. Though procrastinating isn't the best option to use when trying to complete a homework assignment, the bad rep about it isn't all that appreciative. I have to admit; starting early is the best way to get a good mark on an assignment in school. But I strongly disagree to anyone, procrastinating is a bad thing. It creates a lot of useful skills for the near future, and should be used ever so often.
