The south African economy has experienced the ups and downs . Since the introduction of the democratic government system its economy went into a major transformation. So the following essay will discuss the recent economic growth , unemployment , inflation and lastly the business cycle of the south African economy .Business cycle will be discuss under the discussion of cyclical unemployment . The discussion will begin by discussing those growth from the post world war two.1945The reason being that the South African economy became involved in the international markets after the world war two .The issue of labour markets flexibility...
then the economy enjoyed a positive growth , reaching 3.4 percent in 2000 . Certain suggested that recent rise of 3,4 will decrease , there reason being that our country is having the highest rate of Aids in the world . At the rate of 2,3% per annum South African population was supposed to reach 58 millions by the year 2010 .So because of aids south African economy will experience shortage of labour and entrepreneurship . The estimation by the department of health shows that by 2010 – about 28 millions people will be dead .
