From this we learn that the personality is influenced by the individual's surroundings, and whilst conforming to society, and sub consciously embracing socialisation, they also become aware of their social self. Once they overcome the issues related to their social self, they are then a member of society, as they have fully developed as individuals. However achieving this stage is difficult, as society is ever changing, and the values associated with society vary as time changes, therefore the process continues and works as a learning cycle, as individuals continue to have a need to conform.
