Investigating Reaction Rates Problem: To investigate a factor which affects the rate of reaction between magnesium ribbon and hydrochloric acid. All of the results I obtained were exactly as expected in my prediction and I think they would be good enough to convince other people.

Now I am going to look at another way of proving my results are correct by doing the same experiment again only this time using a different metal and a different acid, zinc and sulphuric acid.

Zinc + Sulphuric acid „³ Zinc sulphate + hydrogen

Zn + H2SO4 „³ ZnSO4 + H2

The results of this experiment should prove my results weren¡¦t a fluke.
