During the Second World War we first saw the use of evacuation. When this idea first took place there where many differing thoughts and views. There were the thoughts of the hosts who would take in the children, the thoughts of the mothers and fathers. There were also the thoughts of the children how did they feel about moving a way with out their parents not knowing if they will ever see them again. with the evacuation. The children had to be chosen and would have felt very bad if they where one of the last to be picked a bit like a school playground football match. Some of the children had great times and others didn't but every child was homesick. So for children evacuation was quite a strange experience one they will never forget. Another important reaction would have been the parents because it was really up to them whether or not to send their children away if they where happy about evacuation then they would let their children go.
