child would go through in school and for their entire life. It is everyone"s

responsibility to encourage friends and family not to drink while pregnant. Nine

months of drinking alcohol by the mother can cause a lifetime of irreversible

damage for the child. Hopefully, people will become more educated about the

consequences of consuming alcohol during a pregnancy, and no more children will

have to suffer because of their mother's ignorance.

There is no cure for Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.
