The other experiment that we performed was to observe osmosis along a free energy gradient. We use different percent of sucrose to see if the process was hypertonic, hypotonic, or isotonic. We proved that when there is a greater percentage of sucrose in the bag the process is hypotonic. The diversity of it is hypertonic; where is has a low concentration of sucrose in the dialysis bag. It shows the bag lost weight, because the fluids leave the bag.
