I think it "adidas" used its resources quite efficient even there is always space for improvements. 2001 was not a easier year as well because of September 11th and currency impacts but the company could keep its leading position.

Finally I think it is worth investing in both companiesNike and "adidas" because all two are market leaders "adidas" more than Nike and both will continue to get bigger and to increase turnover and profit.
