Regardless of the difference or similarity in time, distance, language, and culture a few people are similar when everything amongst them is poles apart and some people are different when they share absolutely nothing in common. A similar case is with Beowulf and Gandhi; while being different in many aspects they are still very much alike in some other cases. So different, yet so similar, Beowulf and Gandhi were from different cultures, different parts of the world and from different times but had a common motivation for their fight: serving the people who were helpless, fighting for good and eliminating injustice and evil from the world. Both Beowulf and Gandhi endeavored all their lives to achieve their goals and died trying. Beowulf, though being fictional had, set a distinctive example of how people should approach their goals and although Gandhi showed a different way to approach goals, both succeeded.
