The One Minute Manager is a novel that each person should read, whether they are in a family, in a group of friends, or at the work place. Kenneth Blanchard, Ph.D and Spencer Johnson, M.D explain three basic principles that can be applied to everyday life. The concepts of one minute management are straightforward and simple, yet when trying to implement them, there are other factors that will influence success. Many people may try to be one minute managers, but I highly doubt that a person could achieve maximum success like the people in the novel. Situations are constantly changing, and require people to make snap decisions, which are not always the most rational ones. I think that each person can take ideas from one minute managing, but I don't think that a person will ever be successful as a one minute manager.
