The south African economy has experienced the ups and downs . Since the introduction of the democratic government system its economy went into a major transformation. So the following essay will discuss the recent economic growth , unemployment , inflation and lastly the business cycle of the south African economy .Business cycle will be discuss under the discussion of cyclical unemployment . then the economy enjoyed a positive growth , reaching 3.4 percent in 2000 . Certain suggested that recent rise of 3,4 will decrease , there reason being that our country is having the highest rate of Aids in the world . At the rate of 2,3% per annum South African population was supposed to reach 58 millions by the year 2010 .So because of aids south African economy will experience shortage of labour and entrepreneurship . The estimation by the department of health shows that by 2010 ?óÔé¼ÔÇ£ about 28 millions people will be dead .
